Expansion of White Pine Commerce Park to engulf Burnet Road

This map shows the size of the proposed project, using Onondaga Lake as a comparison. The White Pine Commerce Park proposed project area is 2 square miles, which encompasses 4% of the size of the Town of Clay,
or three times the size of the state fairgrounds (375 acres),
or roughly half the surface area of Onondaga Lake (4.6 sq miles).

The majority (approx 913 acres of the current total 1253) of the expanded White Pine Commerce Park is zoned residential/agricultural RA-100 (white), rather than the existing industrial I-2 zone (pink) to the west.

OCIDA does not own nor control all the properties within the boundaries of their currently advertised Commerce Park maps, despite their claims of "Land control by local government".

For reference, see same location on Google Maps.

Burnet Road is marked in red.
The National Grid substation and powerlines are marked in cyan and the CSX Railway is marked with a green dotted-dashed line.
There are large areas of protected wetlands throughout the Commerce Park.  There are approximately 37 homes on Burnet Road, all located in a residential/agricultural zone.
